Things I Love
With Valentine's Day upon us (aka "Singles Awareness Day." so S.A.D.) and no lady in my life, I thought I would share some of my current loves:
People Watching
I think we all can agree, we love to people watch. I can't get enough. How people interact, behave, be odd, and, well, whatever else they want to do, I find utterly fascinating. Just don't stare too much.
The Love Boat
Now, granted, this is a "love" themed blog, but I actually DID love this show for a time. Honest! Gavin McLeod, Bernie Kopell, Fred Grandy, Ted Lange (nope, I didn't have to go look up their names :) and crew were representin' on the Pacific Princess back in tha day. I think they're still stuck on that boat (and in the 80s).
Ping Pong
Yeah baby! I use to play this thing to death in college, then shortly thereafter at Mount Hermon. We have it at work, but, ahem, certain people won't play with me. :) But yes, I could play this thing until limbs start falling. Watch out for ping rage!
Tony Campolo
Even though he looks like Homer Simpson, Tony. Is. Awesome. He's a former baptist minister and sociology professor that pulls no punches in what he thinks or says about the Gospel and current issues. I don't agree with 100% of what he says, but it's pretty darn close. And he's been on the Colbert Report. Twice. Not bad. Check him out: http://www.tonycampolo.org/
Jamiroquai
If you want beats while you eats, in the car, in da club, Jamiroquai is where it's at. They brought back disco, baby. And I can't thank them enough. The beat don't stop.
