Alright, I am obeying this task from the mighty Sarah, who has done her deal.
I'll tag Kristin (who needs to blog more anyway), Cara and Charlie because I know they'll do it. And oh so well.

2. I always buy a People Magazine when I fly. Part of it is keeping with traditions, but part of it is the sleazy guilt I enjoy feeling when I buy one, because regardless of the cover at the time I fly, it WILL be bought.
3. I like wind. In all facets. For example, one of my pathetic creature comforts is sleeping with a fan. I think part of it is the white noise. I also love the fact my car has a sunroof. I am also the type that would also prefer rolling down the windows at 30 degrees and blasting the floorboard heater so my toes become snausages. Oh yes.
4. I am a trivia freak. I like to tell people that I have "a wealth of useless knowledge." I was actually part of a college bowl trivia team that made the regional Pacific Northwest finals. How? Why? Because I watched WAY too much TV as a kid until college. So, basically, my pop culture knowledge stops at 1996. Try me.
5.I'm a throwback. I am a lover of the "Golden Age of Comedy." When was that? Late 1960s to early 1980s people. I think I get some of it from my dad. We're talking Carol Burnett. The Pink Panther Movies. The Best of the Johnny Carson Show. Smokey and the Bandit. CANNONBALL RUN II!!
Let the cheese flow people. Let it flow.
6. I want to attend a Monster truck rally before I die.

1) i know someone (who will remain nameless) who was dragged to a monster truck rally a few (like 5-7) years ago. Felt, um, out of place.
2) Jon Havens sleeps with a fan too (he was tagged as well and shared that as one of his quirks). If you ever need a roommate you guys are a perfect match.
3). You better bring a People magazine next Tuesday morning. SHARESIES!

Do you realize that we are very similar? Aside from sleeping with a fan...we do the same things.
I LOVE Huey Lewis...always have...always will...not much beats "Power of Love". Um..I have been to a monster truck rally...sadly.
The ONLY magazine I EVER buy is People...and it is ALWAYS my airplane magazine. Not joking. Anytime I fly...a People goes with me. I also like it because it is 'true' gossip...they are a bit late on their info, but that is because they are accurate. AND the crossword puzzle is the only one I can ever complete, almost every time.
I knew there was a reason I liked you so much.
I did your meme, and I now have "If This Is It" by HL&theN in my head now.
I think Huey was the first band I ever really loved. I saw them in concert 2 or 3 times-twice at the Paso Robles State Fair ('Sports' tour and then the next album) and then at the BAMMIES! (Do they still have that? The Bay Area Music Awards?) I think it was 1987 or '88..... I must have definite father issues, for Huey Lewis and MacGyver were my childhood crushes....I don't know if I would admit it if I still liked them. You are brave!
awww, the Bammies. I think they still have them. I'm pretty sure. I am a Huey fan too. Maybe the next time they tour, we all should go.
